    Description

    Created by well-know Canadian artist Albert Gilles (1895-1979).
    Using one of Canada's most popular natural resources, Albert Gilles created his copper pieces using the ancient technique of "Repousse".
    Starting with the a rough drawing, outlines are traced on a thin piece of metal, and hammered from the back to give it shape.
    Definition and detail are then added to the front by chasing or engraving.
    Set of two, One with wolf, one with bird in outdoor settings.
    Measurements: 8 3/4" tall x 7 3/4 wide x 1/2 thick, both have wire for hanging on back.
